Lack of creating

I have to apologize for the lack of posting lately, We have just found out that we are expecting our first baby. With that being said, I have been extremely tired and lacking in the creative department so thats the reason for no new stuff.. However, I am almost out of my first trimester and hoping my creative bug comes back SOON so here's to hoping for some new stuff!

Thanks for the support!!

LOVE

Valentines day is my favorite holiday! These are the first of many new projects to come:

Happy Valentine's Day!

RAIDERS

These blocks are an even better story. So for those of you that don't know me, we are football fanatics in this house - however we are a house divided as my husband is a Raiders fan, and I'm more of a Kansas City Chiefs girl. :) Anyway, a while back I had this idea that if I could find Oakland Raider paper - or even just logo's that I could make some super cute blocks!

I told my husaband about the [what I thought was] great idea and if I could only explain the look on his face. I think he thought I was insane! I had wanted to make them as a gift idea, not only because his family is big Raider fans but think of how easy this would be for gifts in the future. We had recently gone to California and stayed with friends [Raider fans] and I totally thought these would be so great.. Nope, dear husband said it would never work!

Roll forward 3 months...

TA DA!
My husband came to me a little while back and said "Hey do you remember those Raider blocks you talked about making? What if you just made them in black and silver for Friend A & B" :)
I knew I was a genious! lol

Riker!

I should explain these! So I have a wonderful friend that just had a little boy [her first - she has 2 girls] who was VERY indecisive about colors for Riker's room.
She finally told me: LIME GREEN AND CHOCOLATE BROWN. Well it's January, how incredible easy is it to find LIME GREEN?!? I struggled & finally found some paper that would work. The browns are the chocolate she wanted just different shades and then the green polka dot is actually a feltish piece with the circles being lime green. This was the only Lime green piece I could find so I ended up using the green with grasshoppers. It's for a boy so we should be ok.

After finishing these I went to cut vinyl and my machine wasn't working. It's currently being replaced so needless to say these will go unfinished until then :( I did sneak them over to my girlfriend and even though I don't love them, she does!
